What about aftercare?
After treatment, the skin may appear red and feel sensitive for a short period. You should avoid makeup, strenuous exercise and excessive heat including steam and sauna for 24-48 hours after treatment. Keeping the skin hydrated and protected with SPF is essential.
What can I expect on the day?
Your appointment will begin with a consultation to determine if this is the right treatment for you. Numbing cream may be applied for comfort. During the treatment, fine needles create controlled micro-injuries while radiofrequency energy is delivered into the skin. The treatment typically takes 45-60mins, with minimal downtime after treatment.
