Sweatox is a targeted injectable treatment designed to reduce excessive underarm sweating. Small amounts of botulinum toxin are placed superficially into the sweat glands to temporarily block the nerve signals responsible for overactive perspiration. Sweat production decreases whilst surrounding muscle activity remains unaffected.

Are there any risks?
Sweatox / hyperhidrosis is a safe and widely used treatment. As with all injectable treatments, there is a risk of swelling, redness and bruising at the injection sites that may occur, and usually resolves in 24-48 hours.
What about aftercare?
You should avoid strenuous exercise and excessive heat including steam room and sauna for 24hours following treatment.
