Polynucleotides, also known as PDRN or polydeoxyribonucleotide, use purified DNA fragments to stimulate tissue repair and regeneration at a cellular level. Derived from marine DNA, these nucleotides closely resemble human DNA structure and demonstrate strong compatibility within the dermis.
When delivered into targeted areas, Polynucleotides stimulate collagen synthesis and enhance cellular proliferation. Production of collagen and elastin increases to reinforce the dermal matrix and improve structural integrity over time. As tissue strength returns, elasticity improves, fine lines soften and overall tone becomes more even.

Are there any risks?

What about aftercare?
Your aftercare will be discussed with your practitioner during and following your treatment. You will also receive this by email. Any mild swelling or redness in the treated area typically settles within 24 - 48 hours. We ask you to avoid intense exercise, steam, sauna and alcohol for 24 hours after treatment. You should also avoid applying makeup to the treated area on the day of treatment.
What can I expect on the day?
Your appointment will begin with a consultation to determine if polynucleotides are the most suitable treatment for you. The treatment itself involves a series of small injections into the targeted area using a very fine needle, or cannula. Most patients find the procedure comfortable, numbing cream can be applied if required. The appointment typically takes 30mins. You may experience mild swelling immediately after treatment but are able to resume daily activities after.
